The IO-MBA is accredited by eduQua. Through eduQua, the first Swiss quality label geared towards adult continuing education was established. The eduQua label sets and reviews minimum criteria for the quality of continuing adult education. In the eduQua certification process, adult continuing education institutions get certified. eduQua defines six criteria, which are key to the quality of an institution: the course offer, communication with clients, value performance, staff – meaning the educators, learning success, and quality assurance and development. Additionally, eduQua stimulates quality development. This happens during the preparation for a certification, the on-site audit, certification report, yearly intermediate audits, and with the renewal of the eduQua certification every three years.
